This course is for anyone who wants to learn CPR but does not need a course completion card to meet a job requirement. It is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and students. Topics include adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to help a choking adult, child, or infant.

If you are involved in or witness a traumatic accident, will you know what to do until first responders arrive? This course will teach you how to recognize an emergency, assess your surroundings, provide important information when calling 911, and give care until law enforcement or fire/EMS arrives. Washington Township Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Riebel and Northwest Regional Emergency Communications Center Communications Manager Stephanie Skipworth will present the class through lecture, demonstrations, and hands-on skills practice.

The class also includes Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Students will receive a link approximately two weeks before class to complete the Pediatric First Aid/CPR portion online. Babysitter’s Training and the Pediatric First Aid/CPR skills sessions will be held in person. Please bring a lunch to class.

If you are expecting or adopting a child, have a newborn at home, or will be babysitting your new grandchild, this class is for you. Learn the knowledge and skills to respond quickly if a baby is choking or needs CPR. Although this is an American Heart Association course, participants will not receive a completion card. Our certified car seat technician will also offer tips on properly securing your child’s car seat.

The Washington Township Community Garden is located at the corner of Cosgray and Rings Rd. at Amlin Crossing Park. Plots are 12′ x 14′. You don’t need experience, just a willingness to learn and maintain your garden for the duration of the growing season. Plots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to returning gardeners. A volunteer committee oversees the day-to-day operations of the garden.
To be a part of the community garden, gardeners should plan to:
- Visit the garden two to three times a week during the growing season.
- Harvest produce on a regular basis.
Please read the Community Garden Guidelines before registering, as compliance with these guidelines is a requirement for participation in this program. Registration begins February 20 for returning gardeners, March 10 for new gardeners (WT/City of Dublin residents), and March 17 for new gardeners (non-residents).

This blended learning option is for those who have completed the online HeartCode® BLS ($37) course on the Amercian Heart Association (AHA) website. Once the online portion has been completed, you can schedule your skills check.
CPR for Healthcare Providers is specifically designed for those who work in the healthcare field. Topics include recognizing several life-threatening emergencies, providing CPR, using an AED and relieving choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Ages 18 and up.
